Move over or get out of the way,
Stonethrow is coming your way in October. Jump on board for
a Cub of a good time
September 29th - October 1st, 2011
Join me, Ron "Kodiak"
Whiting, as my wife Paula and I once again open our
door to some great southern hospitality.
"Moon Pie isn't the only thing served
at Stonethrow but it sure is one of my favorites"
Stonethrow is our annual Cubfest
where Farmall Cub lovers converge on the little town of Gillsville
to share there friendship with each other and knowledge of this
Due to the location of
the unloading area, we ask that you have someone with
you when you unload your tractor. Accidents can
happen and should something go wrong during your
unloading no one may be aware of it until it is too
Please do not unload
your tractor until you have asked someone to be there
Stonethrow is located approximately 60 miles North, Northeast of Atlanta,
Georgia off I-85.
If you would like to do a MapQuest or Google Maps of my location
just plug in
6510 Highway 52 Gillsville, Georgia 30543 and you should find me
If your getting off I-85 either northbound or southbound just turn
left (I know that sounds weird but trust me its one of those weird
exit things) and go 9.6 miles and your there on the left is the shop
and on the right is parking on the top of the hill, plenty of room
and there will be signs to parking and to the shop.
There is a way to come over the mountains from Knoxville, Tenn. Via
I-40 / 74 (exit 27 off I-40) pick up US 19/23 to Waynesville, N.C.
and on to Dillsboro, N.C. stay on US 23 till you come to the
intersection/exit for Atlanta via US 441. Once on US 441 it will
eventually turn into Highway 365 take this till you see the
intersection of Highway 52 take a left and follow the signs to Gillsville. The shop and parking is less than ½ mile once you pass
the Post Office on the right in town.
If your coming from any other way, probably the easiest way to get
directions will be to email or PM me.
