Food

And lots of it

You gotta eat when your having fun working on a Cub.

As a matter of fact you are gonna have fun eating too.

There will be plenty to eat at the shop.  You don't have to be a gourmet chef to prep the chow, but you would think these folks are.

Bill Sorensen (Beaconlight) And Rick Spivey get ready to fire up the grill

It looks like we will have a BBQ on Friday evening. So if anyone wants to being a covered dish along that will be most welcomed.

If you are going to be around before or after the event there are also eating places around town.

Please avail yourself of the local café in downtown Gillsville. Jeannie’s Café has moved to a new location, but they continue to serve up a great breakfast as well as other meals. Just ask Beaconlight, Barnyard and Miss Rosie.  They ate there and loved it.

Empty plates - That is a good indication the chow was mighty good

There are more restaurants in Maysville like the The Maysville Saloon serving up some of the best steaks and wings to be found. Join them during your stay for a great lunch or dinner. You can easily find them just across the railroad tracks from City Hall.

Then, of course, there is the Fat Finch which is very good but may be a bit pricey for some of us country folk. They can be found serving hamburgers, Philly cheese steak sandwiches, and more for dinner at 9169 Gillsville Road in downtown Maysville.

There are also all the chain places at US 441 and I-85 (which is where you all may be staying). Outback, Longhorn’s, Sonny’s BBQ, McDonalds, Burger King, Pizza Hut, Cracker Barrel, Mexican places, TGI Fridays and Starbucks are a few of the eating places you will find there!!!
