Sometime around
the end of 1954 or the beginning of 1955 when the Cub hood was
redesigned, IH eliminated the two holes in the hood used to oil the
generator. Later in 1955 those holes reappeared.
This page will
be used to track the serial numbers of Cubs with out the holes to
determine if there was a numerical sequence during Cub Production in
early 1955. If you have a Cub from 1955 and would like to help us
track these numbers, please send your serial number and general
location so we can add it to the database. For privacy reasons, you
do not have to submit your name.
